The next three months...

In a little over a month it will be Halloween!!!!  I need to find costumes for Boog and the Princess.  I asked Boog what he wants to be but, I don't think he understands.  LOL.  He says, "I don't know!".  I think he would make a wonderful policeman.  I would love for the Princess to be a bumble bee or lady bug.  Boog only weighed around 5 pounds his first Halloween so we didn't take him trick or treating.  He was a bumble bee when he was 1 and superman at 2.  The Princess was a lamb last year.  My sister is coming down this weekend & we are going to find some outfits.
In a little over six weeks, baby girl #2 will make her appearance.  I am excited and scared.  LOL.  I am super excited to meet her.  I am terrified of surgery.  After two cesareans, they do not get any easier for me.  The entire process literally makes me have an anxiety attack.  I sound silly, huh?  I just have a huge fear of surgery.  I can take shots & IVs like a champ.  Epidurals and my belly being cut?  Ugh, not so much.  Hopefully, I won't stress out too much.  I can't wait to meet the little ninja in my tummy.
In three months, Christmas will be here.  I love Christmas.  It is my very favorite holiday.  I love my Christmas tree and all of the decorations that go with it.  If my hubby wouldn't flip out, I would put it up now.  Ha ha.  I love the weather and spending time with my family.    I can't wait!!!!  I need to start shopping for presents asap!  I will have 3 kiddos to buy for this year.
My husband starts a new job tomorrow.  We are both excited.  For the most part, he will be working from 7-3:30, Monday through Friday.  I love the hours.  I know he doesn't have to work really late or at night.  Unlike his "driving across country" job, he will be home every night.  For that, I am thankful.  I know he will do great.  His birthday is October 3.  He will be 34 years old.  I have something special planned for the weekend before his birthday.  I love you Tim!!!!

Thanks for reading...   ; )

Writer's Block, Anyone?

I don't really think I had writer's block.  I have just been so busy.  The Princess has been sick, not once, but twice.  Tim & I have been sick and so has Boog.  I am just going to do some random blogging below, to get back in the swing of things.

  • Boog is 100% potty trained.  I am so thankful and so very proud of my little man.  Our conversation:  "Mommy is so proud of you for being potty trained!"  Boog-"What is this twain chew keep talkin 'bout?" Points to toilet..."That is potty, not choo choo twain, Mommy!"  LOL.
  • My new bundle of joy is due the second Monday of November.  I can not wait to meet her.  She bumps around in my tummy all day long.
  • We have a Pomeranian puppy. Tim's Mom bought her as a gift for the babies birthdays.  We named her Lei-Lei (pronounced lay lay).
  • The Princess has 5 teeth in and has several more breaking through her gum line now.
  • I am amazed at how different the kids are.  Boog has a hyper personality.  He is constantly running around and talking and being a pure boy.  The Princess is super sweet.  She just wants to be lovey dovey.  She carries her babies around and kisses them and tries to brush all of our hair.  She even makes a little smack noise when she kisses.  She has stolen Tims heart and mine too.  Boog is a Mommy's boy though and I wouldn't trade him for the world.
  • I had an 82 year old woman hit my car, who just happened to be my 6th grade teacher.  She smashed in my entire drivers side fender and door.  I was going straight and she decided to make a left hand turn into my drivers side.  I think she hit the gas, meaning to hit the brake.  It is still in the shop.  In the meantime, I am driving a Chevy Aveo.  This little rental car is way too small for our family.  The car seats barely fit in the back.  At least I have something to drive though.
  • I took Boog to church Sunday.  He had a blast.
  • Tomorrow, Mom and I are going to see Whitney  : )  Can't wait.  Love you Sis!

That's all I have time for tonight.  I will try to blog again soon.

A little Randomness, to catch up.......

  • I've had a busy past month and half, preparing for Tim's departure on the open road, taking care of two little rascals & trying to keep my roomie out of trouble.
  • First of all, Jill no longer lives here.  I have two small children that come first in my life and I don't want them around certain things.  Yes, Jill is single, but I explained to her if that was the lifestyle she was going to have while living here (different man every night) then she needed to think about moving along.
  • I did try to get her to stay, reminding her that she wants her young 12 year old daughter & 15 year old son to respect her.  Needless to say, she moved in with the guy that she has previously spent the night with.
  • We both said some things that can't be taken back and we will never be friends again.
  • I thought she had changed from the last time she stayed with me but obviously not.  That is enough about that situation.
  • The Princess is a professional walker/runner now.  LOL.
  • Tim left on July 4.  Not sure when he is coming home.
  • The Princess has a birthday coming up and a party in a week and a half.  I can't wait!!!
  • Casey Anthony was found not guilty.  I am still in shock!
  • I am now 23 weeks preggers.
  • I find out what I am having this Friday.  ; )
  • I am not as lonely as I thought I would be.  The kids really do keep my mind off the fact that my Hubby is on the road.
  • I love my Mom because she helps me out soooo much!!!  I am thankful and blessed to have her.
  • I stayed with my Sister on July 4 after dropping Timmy off in GA.  She was a sweetie and kept the kiddos while I dropped Tim off.
That's all for now.  Maybe I will feel like blogging again soon.

Mommy & Boog time...

If your 2 year old is being quiet, you should worry!

This is Boog covered head to toe in baby powder.
While I was doing laundry, I noticed how quiet the house was & went searching for Boog.  He had a brand new bottle of baby powder that he opened and sprinkled around his room and put all over himself.

Later on, he made a "gate" or "wall" with things in his room.

All in all, it's been a pretty good day.  We played in the pool.  I let him soak me.
I basically just sat beside his little kiddie pool while we threw water at each other.
He would get a bucket of water and say, "You want this Mommy.  I am going to give it to you."
Then he would douse me.  When we went inside, I told him that he soaked me.  He said, "Mommy, you can't soak a wet butt."  LOL.  I don't know where he comes up with these phrases.

He had a hard time seeing 'cause the sun was in his face.
This is our kiddie pool and tent. LOL.

Tim washed the cars.  I let Boog jump on the trampoline and then we took his tricycle to the road and he mastered peddling.  I was really proud of him.
I enjoyed spending so much quality time with him today.

Bored to death...

I am super bored today.  Jill left for a week in Panama.  Lucky girl.  I would give my pinky toe to have a weeks paid vacation on the beach.  She took LB and Baby girl home today.  Josh is home from the road for a bit.  We all have missed him.  I took the kids over to Mimi's to see him. Boog has been on a hyper binge.  He kept smacking Mimi and saying, "Mimi, you got knocked out."  It's really hard to not laugh at him when he is acting up.  Both babies' took a nap so I went to Wally World to buy up a few groceries.  Tim got to leave training early and pulled up 5 minutes after I did in the driveway.  ; )  I am going to refill Boog's pool so we can "swim" tomorrow.  The weather is supposed to be amazing.

Random Thursday...

I missed out on Random Tuesday....so I am doing Random Thursday today...

  • Yesterday I went to Cullman and saw Cassie and her family.  We were going to go swimming but her pool was a little green.  LOL.  (from the rain)  We had a really good day.  Afterwards, we all met Tim at a Chinese place and ate dinner.
  • After Cullman, Jill, the babies' and myself, went to Montevallo to pick up Baby Girl and LB.  We were stuck on I-59 forever because of the AWFUL wreck that I mentioned yesterday.
  • After a busy week, I decided that I wasn't going anywhere today.  I have sat in my PJ's all day long and it has been wonderful!!!
  • I have really enjoyed spending time with Baby Girl and LB.  They haven't spent the night with me in a little over a year and I missed them a lot.  Teenagers these days keep you very entertained.
  • We have had a ROUGH month with all of the tornado's and storms coming through Alabama and the winds are horrible today.  The power has been out over an hour or two.  A friend of mine had damage to her home and her dog pen.  Her yard was full of broken trees and limbs.      ; (
  • Tomorrow is Friday which means I get the weekend with my Hubby!!!
  • I cleaned Boog's room and it took me over an hour.  Messy little booger.
  • Charlotte and Cheech hate storms and they are trying to break out of their pen.
  • That is all for now, LOL.

Wordless Wednesday...(but not really)

I was stuck on the interstate after this happened.  Here is what happened...
ARGO, Alabama -- Some of the victims killed in a car crash on Interstate 59 Wednesday evening were Hurricane Katrina survivors who had relocated to Birmingham and then Chattanooga, Tennessee, after the 2005 storm took everything they had.
The family was en route to see a friend graduate from Hoover High School when they broke down in a traffic lane near Argo and were struck from behind by an 18-wheeler.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victims as Viola Smith, 41, her daughter Joan Smith, 22; her grandson Jayden Smith, five weeks, and another relative, 3-year-old Darrell Turner III, all of Chattanooga.
Darrell's mother was injured in the crash, as was another family member -- a 15-day-old infant. They are in critical condition.
The family had left Chattanooga Wednesday to attend the graduation ceremony.
"I keep telling everybody it's in God hands," said Joan Willis of Chattanooga, who lost her daughter, granddaughter and two great-grandsons in the deadly crash. "I've got to believe all of my babies are in God's hands."
The accident happened just before 5 p.m. Wednesday when authorities say the car carrying the victims broke down on the interstate.
The car was stopped in a traffic lane when it was struck from behind by the tractor-trailer truck, killing the four and injuring the other two.
The 18-wheeler overturned in a ditch just off the roadway. That driver was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
Trooper Cpl. Steve Smith say another person was also injured in the accident that happened at mile marker 145 near Argo in Jefferson County.
The injured were taken to UAB, Children's Hospital, Brookwood and St. Vincent's East. All northbound lanes were shut down for more than five hours following the deadly crash.

So sad.......If your car ever breaks down on the interstate & you can't get it out of the road, please, please, please, get your family out of the car & a safe distance away from traffic and call 911.

Fender Bender Tuesday...

Today I had to go to Gadsden to return Tim's store keys to Marvins.
I was going to do this yesterday and accidentally left them at home. ; (
While at Walmart, I saw a very interesting person that I needed to catch up with.
I decided to follow that person.  LOL.  Amanda, P.I.
I am the worst PI in the world.  The car I was following turned into Johnson's parking lot.
I followed and found a comfy parking space with a decent view.  The old man parked next to me had the ideal spot, so when he moved, I decided to jump on in his slot to grab a better view.
Low and behold............Mrs. Primpy Prissy Primp in her convertible Chrysler came out of nowhere and I backed right into her.  Ugh.
This is my car below.  I actually busted my tail light but didn't know it at the time I took this picture.

The white car is Mrs. Primpy's.  I exchanged paint with her.
I guess I need to stick with being a Mommy and not a PI.
Lesson Learned.

New tires.........

Friday I took my car for an alignment and was told I needed front tires ASAP before they separate.  Today I took my car to Bob's Tires in Gadsden.  It cost me $162 for two new front tires.  Whew!!  I had to take the babies' with me and thankfully they both were really really good.  I had to wait over an hour.  Boog tried gum for the first time and he chewed and chewed while I constantly reminded him not to swallow it and then he swallowed it.  No gum for him for awhile.  That was the only candy machine in the waiting room and he begged and begged not understanding that he really didn't know what to do with gum.  I should have brought more snacks.  The first 20 minutes we were there, the Princess and Boog cleaned me out of Cheerios.

A friend staying the day, keeps the blues at bay....

Since Tim is going to be gone a lot, I asked a friend of mine to come and stay with me some while Tim is away.
Jill arrived today.  The kids love her!
Thankfully I have some company now.
This is Jill's daughter,"Baby Girl", Jill, and her son "LB".

Baby girl, Jill and me.
I think we were supposed to cover our noses too.

Six Word Saturday...

Eating Sushi with my sweet Husband!!

Tim is home for the weekend, so we treated ourselves to Sushi.

Yummy!!!!

Yay for Friday!!!!

Why am I so excited it's Friday???  Because my Hubby comes home today!!!!
I took my car for an alignment and I need two new tires.  I have called around to several places and the cheapest seems to be around $170.  That really stinks.  I have to have them though. One of them separated over a month ago and I was told today that the front two are going down that same path.  The bad tires make my steering wheel jerk from side to side.  Next Wednesday, I am going to see Cassie and her Hubby, CJ and their baby boy.  He is exactly 3 weeks older than my Princess.  They play so well together. : )
Here are some pics of their last get together...

9:30 PM.....Do you know where your kids are?

I do.............you can't help but hear them.  LOL.  I am about to give the Princess a bath and then it's bed time for the Miller crew.  It has been so AWESOME getting these kiddos to bed at a decent hour.  Why am I blogging at 9:30?  I am bored, there isn't anything on TV worth watching and I miss my Hubby so very much.  Is it Friday evening yet???  I fixed Chicken Alfredo for dinner and I had to force Boog to take one bite.  He hated it. ; (   Why won't he eat???  The Princess eats anything and everything (including the carpet)!!!!  Boog is so picky.  Sometimes I have a hard time sleeping thinking he may be hungry because he didn't eat that good for me throughout the day.  He loves fruit and a few veggies but isn't keen on main entrees.  Any advice in this area from an experienced Mom of a picky eater would be greatly appreciated.

14 weeks...

I am 14 weeks pregnant and my little bean is the size of a lemon.  I have a doctor's appointment today and I should be scheduled next month for the sonogram to find out the sex of the baby.  I am excited.  I took an IntelliGender test to find out the sex, about a month ago.
You can buy this test at Walgreen's for $30.  The one I took said I was having a boy.
Stay tuned to see how accurate this test is.
Boy or Girl???
We have a 3 bedroom home.  So two of the kids are going to have to share a room.  If I am having a boy, he will bunk with Boog and if it's a girl, she'll room with The Princess.  Boog will probably freak out if he has to share his room with someone.  The Princess will love it.  I hope the IntelliGender test was wrong and that I am pregnant with Princess #2.

Boog piled all this stuff in his doorway so the Princess couldn't enter.
No girls allowed!  LOL.

My doctor's appointment is @ 2 today and Mrs. Miller is going to watch the babies'.  I hope they behave for her.  She kept them a couple of hours last Saturday so Tim and I could go grab dinner before he left for his training and she looked exhausted when we returned.  I am glad Mimi is right next door in case she needs a helping hand.

Random Tuesday Thoughts...

  • Last night The Princess choked on a tiny fruit bite and threw up all over my bed right when we were going to bed so I ended up staying up until after 1 a.m., washing and drying all my sheets and blankets.  Ugh.
  • Boog is running through the house saying, "Time for lift off!  OK!!!! CHOO-CHOO!!!" while flying his choo-choo train through the air.  LOL.
  • My house is clean and it feels nice.  I have a hard time just sitting on my butt while my house is dirty.  Dang OCD.
  • Brandy aka Beans, my dachshund, LOVES being outside and it was so cold and cloudy and drizzly yesterday that she went outside, did her business and barked at the front door to be let in.  Today she is getting her tan on, lying on the walkway.
  • I made biscuits for Boog this morning and I always make them like my grandmother.  After they are done and warm, add a little butter and sugar.  He loves it.
  • I miss my husband.
  • A friend of mine is going to come and stay with me for a little while.  I am excited.
  • I added water to my turtle's tank this morning and I cleaned the glass.  He looks really happy.  We got him in June of 2008 and named him Franklin.  He was the size of a quarter and now he is the size of a salad plate.
  • I just had to stop to change a stinky diaper.....ew.  ; )
  • My sister lives further away than I would like her to.
  • I love sushi and wish I knew someone that would go eat it with me.
  • I pray a lot.
  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE reality TV and Sunday night was the finale of Survivor and it was awesome but I am sad that it is off now.  ; (
  • Right now I am thinking about what I need to do and I think I am about to go feed the dogs and take a shower.  I have a red dachshund inside (Brandy aka "Beans") and two cats (Cali & Sassy).  I have three pups outside...a mix breed that my husband had before we got together (Charlotte), a chihuahua that my brother bought to be his trucker companion (Cheech), he gets car sick ;( & a black & tan dachshund, (Aidan aka "Boogey").  Boogey is my special man.  Then as you already know, I have Franklin the turtle.  I love my pets.

Brandy aka Beans is 10 years old.
Cali and Sassy are 1 year old.
    Charlotte is 6 years old.
    Cheech is 4 years old.
    Boogey is 3 years old.
    Frankie is 3 years old.
  • Boog is playing with his Sissy but sometimes he is just too rough.  He is still playing with the Choo-choo and The Princess is playing with a robot.  She is rolling it on the kitchen floor like a car.  Too cute!!

Who is who??????? Twins?

The Princess...

The Princess was born on July 28, 2010.  She was 9lbs. 1oz.
This was my first time seeing her sweet face.
It just so happens that July 28 is also my birthday.  What an awesome gift from God!!!!
The Princess all dressed up.
She was so big, when they pulled her out (during the cesarean), they bruised her cheek.

 She loves her Daddy!!

I think I have the prettiest princess in all the land.

Sissy and Bubba chilling in their jammies.  This picture was just taken a few days ago.
I am one blessed Mommy to have two of the prettiest, sweetest babies that God has ever made.

Party and a New Beginning...

Part 1:
Saturday, the kids and myself, attended a great birthday party.  My cousin's son turned 7 years old.  She rented a giant blow up jumper.  Boog loved it.  He played his little heart out.  He loves his cousin so much.  It is so funny how my 2 year old LOVES older kids.  He copies everything they do.  I am constantly reminding the older children to set a good example.
The Birthday Boy!!

This is the outfit that we bought him.  Old Navy has the cutest clothes.
I love my cousin, Marsha!  I really enjoy spending time with her and the family.  She is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet.  I think she liked the clothes a lot more than the birthday boy did.  He looked in the bag wondering where the toy might be.  : )

Part 2:
On Friday, my husband decided to take an opportunity to make more money in a different career.  Tim and his brother, Chris, decided to attend truck driving school.  They signed up as a team and were accepted to the truck driving academy in North Alabama.  He left at 1 p.m. today.  School starts tomorrow.  I am proud of him for wanting to support our family even though the time away from him is going to be so difficult.  He will be gone for the next 3 weeks (possibly home on the weekends) while attending the school.  Then he will be leaving for GA and will be gone approximately 6 weeks before he gets to come home again.  At that point, he should receive his CDL and Chris and Tim will be team driving for the next year. (On the road for 3 weeks, home for 3 days.)  Pray for me, guys.  I am the type of person that wants to be around people all of the time.  I DON'T comprehend the word loner!!  LOL. This experience is going to be particularly difficult for me.  My sister recently went through her husband being deployed for a year and he is gone frequently due to his job with the National Guard.  She did great.  She is a LONER.  I, however, am the complete opposite.  I loathe being alone.  You might be thinking.....doesn't she have 2 children?  Yes, I do but after days alone with baby talk, Dora and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (with no adult conversation) I might as well be put in a padded room.  LOL.  I love my babies' and they do keep me company but not the same as having my Hubby home each night.

I miss you so much already!!

Six Word Saturday

Attending a birthday party at noon!!

Today my cousins son turns 7 years old.  I never buy children toys for their birthday.  I always buy them one really nice outfit.  I went shopping on Wednesday and found him a nice dress shirt and a cute, manly (LOL) pair of blue jean shorts @ Old Navy.  He may or may not love it but his Mom will.  It is so nice to get clothes for your children because they grow so fast and clothes are expensive, especially if you have more than one child.

A little of this & a little of that...

I would love to participate in Wordless Wednesday's, etc. but I have no idea what to do or how to "link up", as my sister says to me.  I need a handbook, on "How to Navigate Blogger".  I never feel this lost.  LOL.  By the way, please forgive my lack of commas in future blogs.
In other news......It seems just as I plan my life for the next few years....I am a planner, organizer, OCD, over analyzer (now to finish my sentence).....things change!  Why can't things go as I want them to for once?
Update on the babies'...The Boog talks from the time he gets up, until he falls asleep at night.  I am seriously thinking of investing in some duck tape.  ; )  Some of the things he says are so funny.  For example:  Yesterday he came through the living room talking on his play cell phone and I asked him to take his toys to his room, he says to me, "No Mommy!  Shhh!  I am talking to my Mimi."  He used to talk about his Aunt Bit-Bit a lot until she had to move over an hour away.  Due to these ridiculous gas prices we don't get to see her much.  He focuses most of his attention on his Mimi now.  She lives right next door.  Whenever we leave to go somewhere, he always asks me if we are going to see Mimi.  I love my little man so very much.  The bond I share with this baby is the best thing in the world.  The Princess is a cutie pie, a diva and a CARPET EATER!!!!  My husband just recently laid new flooring in our living room and hallway and she goes to the edges of the doorways where there is carpet in the adjacent room and picks out pieces to chew on.  It is so gross.  She also likes a variety of plastic and fuzz.  Ew.  I have no idea how to make her stop.  I am constantly sweeping, mopping and vacuuming trying to keep the floors super clean.  The Boog was a paci ADDICT so I didn't have this problem with him.
TTFN.

The Boog

The Boog was born on August 21, 2008.  He was 4lbs 3oz.
I had Preeclampsia when I was pregnant with him and delivered at 32 weeks due to high blood pressures.  As a first time Mommy of a preemie, I was so overprotective!!!
Boog grew really fast.  This is a picture of Boog and Boogie the dachshund.
I never knew that a person could love as much as you love your own child.
This is Mommy's little chunky smiling man when he was around 5 months old.
Mommy's football player.  I have the most handsome baby boy. ; )
He was 1 in this picture.
Boog had just turned 2 in this picture.
My soon to be 3 year old.

Time flies by.  I want my children to know how much their Mommy adores them.  My life is worth living because of this child.  Mommy loves you now and always!!!!!!
