Attending a birthday party at noon!!
Today my cousins son turns 7 years old. I never buy children toys for their birthday. I always buy them one really nice outfit. I went shopping on Wednesday and found him a nice dress shirt and a cute, manly (LOL) pair of blue jean shorts @ Old Navy. He may or may not love it but his Mom will. It is so nice to get clothes for your children because they grow so fast and clothes are expensive, especially if you have more than one child.

I think clothes and books would both be great ideas! :) Most kids have more toys than they can play with lol
Fabulous idea. Children often do have an excess of toys and clothes are often appreciated.
My Sister in law has always done this for my boys (they're now teenagers) and has the ability to buy really cool stuff that they love.
